In short
- Works with the Moodle you already have, without plugins or migrations.
- Read-only: Pharis never changes grades or content.
- Everyone signs in with their own account and sees what already concerns them.
- Daily alerts, with the reasons and a suggested action.
What your institution gains
- Seeing in time who is falling behind. Moodle activity changes weeks before the first zero shows up on a report card.
- Follow-up you can measure. Every contact with the student is logged and Pharis compares the risk before and after.
- Each area with what it needs. Professors, coordinators, wellbeing, finance and leadership get the alert with what each one needs to act.
- A tutor for the student that knows their course assignments and materials, and guides them without doing the work for them.
How to get started
- A demo with your data. We connect your Moodle in read-only mode and show you your groups, the students at risk today and why.
- A focused pilot. A few volunteer professors and their groups for 8 weeks. If you do not continue, we delete the data.
- Little work for your IT team. Moodle only needs its mobile app access turned on, which many institutions already use.
What data it uses
Each student's logins, submissions and grades, compared with their group. It does not use socioeconomic data or how much the student uses the tutor, and the Moodle password is never stored. The details of the calculation are in How Pharis calculates dropout risk.
What does not change
- Moodle remains your platform: content and grades live there.
- Professors keep working in Moodle as usual.
- No decision about a student is automatic: Pharis suggests and a person decides.
